• The SmartValve uses water pressure to sense water flow. It activates a shut off valve after a preset amount of water has been dispensed. It limits the amount of water damage that can be caused from a water leak.
• Easily connects at the beginning of the water line.
• At normal flow rates the valve will allow approximately 2-5 gallons (based on flow) to be dispensed in any one dispensing action.
• If a leak is detected, and more than the set level is dispensed, the valve will cut off the water flow.
• If less than the set level is dispensed, the valve resets for the next dispensing action.
• If the valve cuts off water flow, the reset must be pressed to restart the water flow.
